Windows Live Writer

Over at Freelance Writing Jobs, Deb listed Windows Live Writer as a tool she uses, and several of the other posters commented that they, too, liked Writer. So, when my laptop arrived, thinking that it might be useful if I wanted to write blog entries away from an Internet connection. I am using it right now to type this post in the comfort of my living room, and so far I have to say it’s pretty nice.

It’s pretty easy to set up and use, saving drafts to you local drive, the drafts area of your blog, or letting you publish from right here. It’s easy to flip between different blogs, with just the selection of the drop down menu.

New Laptop – Yay!

I received my new computer today. It’s a Dell laptop. Which is incredibly exciting, for me. Makes me very happy. Right now I am typing a post from the comfort of my living room.

 It will be several days before I get everything I want loaded onto this computer. I’m trying to put together a plan to keep everything organized.

In other news, I have several blog ideas for here and for my other blog, Momma Needs Coffee. I’m looking forward to getting to work on these. Now, if I could just figure out what is messing with my wireless connection here in the living room, I’d be really happy.
